Men & Church….

Why does it seem like there are more women in church than men? It seems like its more difficult for men to live for God than women and I can’t help but wonder why? Is it a pride thing or fear of what the “fellas” may think? I’m curious so I just thought I’d ask……

  1. Women may think going to church will absolve them of their sins and guys just give up easier and you might be right about the pride as far as being in gods house and still knowingly living wrong.

  2. There is really no “why” answer to this. It’s kind of the way it is sort of. There are probably more women in the world’s population than there are men? Most any Church’s congregation is populated with more females attending than men. Why i’s like that is difficult to narrow down. Does it mean that women are more spiritual than men? Could be more single parent homes? Could be the effect of an overall lack of leadership by men in the family unit? Fact. Strong Families make up strong Churches. I do remember God asking a Question in the Garden of Eden: “Adam, where art thou?” So, where are the men??? This could be stretched to all kinds of societal issues like, homosexuality, incarseration, drugs, etc.,… Not a question to be ignored I’ll say.
